Complaints and Appeals

Authors who disagree with an editorial decision may submit an appeal to the Editor-in-Chief at editor@bricsreview.org within 30 days of the decision. The appeal should explain in detail why the decision should be reconsidered, with point-by-point responses to the reviewers' and editor's comments.

Appeals are reviewed by an editor not involved in the original decision, who may consult additional reviewers. The decision on an appeal is final.

Complaints about the journal's processes, editorial conduct, or publication ethics may be sent to the same address and will be handled promptly and confidentially in line with COPE guidance.
